Kiawah Island & Seabrook Island Transportation

Forty-five minutes from the airport and worth every mile — Kiawah and Seabrook trips are reservation rides, and we've been making them for years.

Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island sit at the end of Bohicket Road, past the point where on-demand apps get reliable. Green Taxi covers both islands the way they’re best served: by advance reservation, with the driver assigned before you land.

Rides we handle on Kiawah and Seabrook

  • Airport transfers — reserved rides between Charleston International and the resorts, rental villas, and private homes on both islands. Plan on roughly 45–60 minutes of driving time each way. Book on the airport page.
  • Dinner and downtown trips — evenings in Charleston without a designated driver; we handle the 40-minute ride back after the last course.
  • Golf and event transportation — tee times, tournaments, and wedding weekends at the island venues, scheduled around your itinerary.
  • Freshfields Village connections — rides between the islands, Freshfields, and Johns Island.

Gate access, timing, and luggage

Both islands are gated. Give us your villa, resort, or club details when you book and we’ll take care of gate passes at arrival. For departing flights, we recommend generous margin — Bohicket and Maybank move at island speed. Golf bags and beach-trip luggage are welcome; just tell us the count when reserving.

The honest advice

If your trip starts or ends on Kiawah or Seabrook, don’t gamble on a nearby driver appearing. Reserve ahead — it’s how the islands’ own concierges arrange it, and it’s how we’ve done it since 2008.
